Hey, I noticed your new ASUS VG248QE monitor is showing texture issues during CSGO gameplay when the camera or mouse moves. The textures look rough and there are jagged edges, which isn’t happening on your older 60Hz monitor. Screenshots aren’t capturing this either. Could something be wrong with the display settings or driver configuration? You might want to check the graphics drivers, adjust refresh rate, or try a different resolution. Let me know if you want help troubleshooting further!

Which cable do you need to link your monitor to the PC? I recently purchased a 144Hz monitor and am getting used to it in CSGO, especially with the motion blur effect at that refresh rate. This could be what you’re referring to. It might be worth checking if your monitor has a setting to disable overdrive, and I recommend trying it on to see the difference.

Dual link DVI offers a sharp display, not motion blur. The game itself is crisp, though textures and edges still lack detail.

I also faced issues with my TN panel. When moving the mouse in any game, tiny hexagons or artifacts would pop up across the screen briefly—lasting about 0.2 seconds—and vanish. It was incredibly frustrating during gameplay. I checked all cables and ports, but the problem persisted. Eventually, I returned it and upgraded to an IPS model.

I resolved the issue and disabled the 'trace free to 0' setting.

We prefer not to rely on display port because it doesn't offer native 144hz support.

I suspect you're experiencing ghosting again. I had the same issue with my previous Asus monitor, so I had to exchange it. The new one has backlight bleed, though not as severe as the ghosting. I’d recommend returning it.
