i'm going to share my pc specifications first... they are - 1. an AMD a6 6400k
2. an AMD r7 240
3. 6 gb ddr3 ram at 1600 hz (task manager says so, but in reality the ram mhz is much higher)
4. a 7200 rpm seagate hdd
5. a 60hz samsung monitor
6. a corsair harpoon rgb wired mouse
7. a corsair k55 rgb keyboard

the issue is mainly in csgo and it began about a month ago. before that, i was getting around 70-80 fps while playing with reso 1600*900 and adjusting some graphics settings in med, and others in low. now, after a month, i'm seeing 20-30 fps, sometimes dropping to 10-11. i updated my drivers and changed the mouse polling rates from 1000hz to 125 hz and 250 hz, but it only worked for a few days. even then, my fps stayed between 30-50. i’ve tried playing with the lowest settings, but it doesn’t help much. sometimes the lag is so severe it’s hard to play.

ps: in games like gta v, fortnite, or assassin's creed i’m getting solid fps.

my cpu temperature stays around 50–54 degrees celsius. is that normal? and how should i fix it? my case only has one cpu fan—any advice would be appreciated.

Driver updates for easy management are available. The best choice is to upgrade GPU drivers from the AMD site, followed by updating other drivers through your motherboard's website.
Last BIOS update was successful.
Monitor temperatures using hwinfo64.

How much space is currently used on your hard drive? Has it become fragmented recently?

my hdd is 1tb and currently I have over 500 gb remaining. The drive where csgo is installed has 116 gb of free space, and all the disks are properly defragged.

I received a temporary update from AMD OverDrive and the temperature remains within 5 to 54 degrees Celsius.

Yes, you can try moving CSGO to another drive and see if that resolves the issue.

Are you engaging in other games? Do they exhibit distinct behaviors compared to normal patterns?

Have you checked if installing CSGO on the same drive as your OS worked?
