Hey everyone, I really enjoy CSGO and thought it deserved its own dedicated space here. [For those curious about the game] *CSGO or Counter Strike Global Offensive is a highly competitive skill-driven title that covers ranks, weapon skins, betting, and gambling. However, placing bets and "opening" cases can be extremely risky and often a waste of money.* This subforum is mainly for discussing recent competitive matches, sharing opinions on the game, sharing your rank, and any other CSGO-related topics. From now on, I’ll focus on explaining CSGO details and offering advice to new players. [W.I.P] - What exactly is case opening and how does it function? Case opening refers to GabeN’s tactic of tempting us... Jk, it’s essentially a method where you purchase a case for around $0.10 and a key for about $2.50. If you get both, you can open the case and have a slim chance to acquire low-value skins, while rarer skins might be worth more than $1,000. Generally, you’ll lose money, though sometimes you can make a profit—sometimes quite a lot. It’s not recommended unless you’re after a specific skin; then it’s better to buy directly on the Steam community market. You’ll have far more success that way.* - What are tradeup contracts and what do they entail? Edited February 22, 2015 by colonel_mortis Removed mention of trades

You just played and came out on top with a win by surrender. Are you allowed to OP?

I don't have a win count, but I can help you track or calculate it if you provide the necessary data.

I'm here to remind you why taking risks or opening things up isn't wise.
