I'm not sure about the VAC system. It works well, but the game costs very little, so rerolls happen often. I think I could figure out a way to limit rerolls unless certain rules apply.
I really hope they manage to get it right, but I believe it will take a few months before it starts showing results with prime matchmaking. Things have become routine now. Just played a match recently. Two obvious wallhackers were increasing three friends' stats. All this happened in an exclusive prime matchmaking game.
Noticing the number of hackers on FaceIT and even ESEA is pretty common—sometimes it feels like a regular occurrence. It’s frustrating how many there are, especially with private coded accounts popping up occasionally. It’s annoying when players get banned for cheating, like yesterday when two got suspended on FaceIT.
Yeah I'm LEM. I used to be top but dropped in rank. Mostly because I didn't spend enough time playing to maintain my skills, and also because I get hit by hackers often, making it tough to climb since I won't get any longer streaks. Anyway, I just hope Valve fixes this so I can play the game more. I've been checking out Faceit and Esea, but friends say they're not much better than before.
Prime matchmaking has proven quite effective based on my experience. You need to connect a phone number to your account, which can be easily bypassed, but your account must reach level 21 to join. I’ve tried eight games of prime matchmaking and haven’t encountered any cheaters—mostly honest players. They all played well.
