He began CSGO, then the screen went black, as if the monitor had disconnected. The music continued to play, and it was still running. For the black screen to appear, he needed to restart his PC. His system could handle CSGO.

Consider reinstalling the drivers. Check if the GPU is overclocked and reset any overclocks.
