attempted removing or halting programs they might have been causing, but no change was noticed. Honestly, I used to run the game smoothly and I’m considering a fresh Windows install just in case. Still, I want to figure out this issue thoroughly before it comes up again. No HD problems so far, though I expect an SSD upgrade soon. I’ll give it another shot with my new equipment next week and post an update then. Thanks for your help!

Your setup seems to be underperforming as expected. The Intel Core i3 540 OC is running at 3.69 GHz, which is decent but not top-tier for gaming or heavy workloads. Pairing it with an RX 550 and 8 GB of DDR5 RAM should provide smooth performance, especially with ample SSD storage. However, the low frame rates (around 60 FPS) suggest potential bottlenecks—possibly due to GPU limitations, driver issues, or insufficient RAM for multitasking. The SSD speed might also be a factor if it's not fast enough for your workload. Consider checking drivers, updating software, and ensuring your RAM is properly recognized.
