Yes, it's been addressed before. The issue was resolved by NetCodeGuides in the past.

It's shocking how some people resort to dishonesty in games, especially when they try to manipulate others for success. That's really disappointing.

Thank you to Richard Lewis and Shazam for highlighting this issue. The only person I truly empathize with is Swag, likely due to his age and seeming exhaustion that might have forced him to stay silent. The others probably won’t get much rest tonight unless they’re under the influence. Anyone curious should check out Richard Lewis’s detailed explanation on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtaPVPIwfBU

Great move by Valve. This kind of action will likely deter others from exploiting the system out of self-interest. In my view, wagering undermines the fairness of the game.

Honestly, Faceit is worse than Volvo servers. Whenever I play Faceit, people leave during warmups or mid-game. But really, I'd love to see swag unbanned. I don't think he had any real issues with it. And I'd like to see Steel still functioning in CSGO at major events and behind the scenes. MLG was great to watch from him.

Corrupting individuals and altering competitions is dishonest.

It's just playing a game, it doesn't involve any real dishonesty...

To secure your win through secretive moves or to help others achieve victory, you're actually engaging in cheating. Yes, in live video game competitions there are both formal and informal rules, and all participants must follow them. These guidelines weren't followed by these players. They were dishonest.
