You haven't tried the game yet, does it make sense? Could it improve your skills in other shooters?

It's quite challenging, requiring hundreds of hours to become proficient. This skill will greatly benefit you when working with other shooters.

Absolutely worthwhile to invest both money and effort. As you gain experience, you'll improve your aim, which benefits other games too—especially if you share a similar sensitivity with CSGO.

It's significantly tougher than other titles to grasp. You need to understand spray patterns, grenade throws, and callouts, making it a highly competitive experience. The learning curve is steep, but winning always brings a strong sense of accomplishment. Once you become proficient in CS, you're essentially mastering the toughest FPS games. It's also very engaging to play.

There are two main groups when it comes to CS:GO. Some people really enjoy it—like myself, Edzel from LMG, and many forum members. Others dislike it, which is common. It's not just a fast-paced shooter; you need to consider strategy, aiming, and how to manage your weapon. I'm on the side that appreciates it, so I'd say yes. Those who dislike it will definitely disagree. Generally, CS:GO players are among the better shooters when they understand the game's unique challenges. By chance, most of the players I know are also skilled in other games.

It's worth it for 15 dollars. However, it takes a lot of time to get good at it and will improve your performance in most FPS games. (You're from the UK, Russians too?)

You enjoy tough multiplayer games, but if you're tired of hearing loud Russian voices over your headset every round, then maybe it's not the right fit for you.

The pure aim skill and ways to think will translate to other games whether good or bad, but there is a lot of good to learn from CS in general.
