It's not about viewing or showing frames. CS:GO relies on quick reflexes. The game doesn't run at a fixed 60 frames—it has limitations, causing drops and stuttering. This makes it hard to play smoothly, especially when using a sniper rifle and seeing lag. Everyone seems to experience slow performance. CS:GO struggles to maintain 60 FPS even on a standard 60Hz screen. Updating didn't help. The same issues persist. I plan to remove the video driver via DDU and reinstall it.

Turning off VSync in game settings and/or the config file was the solution. The fps_max command was included, though I omitted it earlier. My mistake. Updated after a fresh video driver install. It seemed to fix the problem until yesterday with the 16.3.2 driver, then the issue reappeared when upgrading to 16.4.1 Hotfix. Likely corrupted config files were involved. Thanks for the assistance!
