Hey there! I'm facing the same issue you did yesterday. I wanted to play CS:GO with friends regularly, but the game is extremely choppy and stutters, especially in fullscreen mode. It seems like the game is capped at 60FPS, which is normal in borderless, but not in other settings. I tried adjusting brightness and disabling VSync, but nothing helped. I also checked for drivers and software updates, but found no relevant fixes. The problem only appears with CS:GO. I'm planning to reinstall the game and see if it improves, but it's still weird. Anyone else experiencing this?

Remove the existing GPU driver with DDU and reinstall the newest version to check if the issue resolves.

I'll attempt it later once the game restarts. (If the problem persists.) It's using a 60Hz monitor.

I believe the issue is because it operates at 60 FPS only in fullscreen mode. You should use a monitor with a quicker refresh rate to achieve more frames per second... Let me know if that's right.

It's incorrect to say his monitor can only show 60 frames; the GPU is capable of producing thousands of frames.

If it's a 60Hz monitor and you're stuck at 60FPS, the issue isn't there. You won't notice the difference, especially in games like CS:GO.
