CS:GO 1080ti / i7-7700k struggles with low frame rates
When discussing visuals, being able to see something is essential for feeling it. If you claim to sense it, there must be a corresponding visual explanation. Unless you possess psychic abilities... this essentially defines psychosomatic phenomena. If that applies, there’s clearly something happening, but without concrete testing it’s hard to confirm hardware involvement. Running performance tests can reveal whether your system is truly lagging or if the problem lies in software, possibly tied to CS:GO or other applications you're using.
Did you accidentally buy something that didn’t have dual RAM?
Hello. Have you resolved your issue yet? I’m seeing 100-13140 fps on a similar setup with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, an I7 7700k, Asus Strix 1080 Ti OC, Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000mhz, 32GB dual channel, Asus Maximus IX Code, Samsung 960 Pro 512GB. It doesn’t matter if my settings are high or low—I consistently get stable fps. Running Gaming Booster in Asus GPU Tweak II brings me around 180-200 fps.
If you enter fps_max 999, the system adjusts it to 300. Typing 0 unlocks it.
Higher frame rates improve performance, which reduces input lag and enhances responsiveness.
