They're just bots, keep it simple. CS lounge can be dangerous, so be mindful of who you connect with. Avoid suspicious links and stay safe.

Typically, restrict access when levels are low and the private section is vacant. Scammers are common in the lounge area.

Only the people I trust are here. Most seem questionable, particularly in the lounge.

They are usually automated bots. Before you engage, check their Steam profile and review their previous usernames.

Thanks to my fairly higher profile csgo and dota 2 inventories, I get these kinds of guys literally everyday. Even last night I got 3 freaking requests. Since then I've moved all of my trade inventory to a private account. But, the majority of these guys are just trying to get free items, or scam you out of something you have. If you posted a trade to Csgo lounge though, then one might be an actual guy, but it's much safer to just go through a trade url on the lounge. In the trade description add something like "DO NOT ADD" or "ADD=BLOCK". Then just block anyone who adds you.
