CS-GO low FPS
CS-GO low FPS
Hello everyone, sorry for opening this topic, but I really need some assistance! (Sorry for my poor English!)
In the past month, I’ve been struggling to understand why my new PC isn’t reaching 300 PFS. When I play, my FPS drops from 300 to 120 or even lower.
I checked all the settings I found online.
My system is an Intel i7 5930K without overclocking, paired with 2 SLI Nvidia 1080 graphics, 32 GB RAM at 1600 MHz, running on MSI Godlike Carbon, and a Corsair water cooler with a 1200 W power supply. I also used four SSDs and one M2 Samsung EVO.
I tried moving the game to another SSD or switching to SLI mode, but the FPS drop remained the same. Without SLI, the performance drops from 450–500 to 180–160.
I’m playing at 4:3 resolution at 1280x960 with low settings.
I’m around 10k of playtime and want to get the best possible score from this game. With this setup, I can’t achieve my goals because some things aren’t running well!
OFF TOPIC: In other games like BF5, BF1 Division 2, or CSGO, I usually get around 120 FPS+ with all settings set to Ultra or High. These games run smoothly, but I’m focusing on CSGO right now.
What are your CPU and GPU temperatures? If you're beginning with high FPS, they may decrease while playing, suggesting possible overheating.
watch and do the same to boost my 30 to 35 fps without any drop and keep the shutter steady... thank you later.
Super dumb question, but how many Hz does your monitor have? Because if it is a 60 Hz Monitor everything above 60 FPS is not really necessary. It could feel smoother; but 120 FPS are already double. On the other hand, you should have more FPS with your system.
