Q1. Hello, my cs go crashes on a regular basis maybe 1 time each 8 hours and have given my computer 2 bsod's. CS GO is the only game wich causes this. It can be a hw problem with my ram (will check that out tonight), got any ideas? OS Windows 7 Ult 64bit. Q2. And this is a question I'm asking for a friend, vac keeps kicking him becasue it cant scan trough his gamefiles, he have tried everything that steam support has told him to do and yet nothing has worked. Got any ideas on this topic too?

The Windows installation is quite old, and it's running on outdated hardware. You may need to reinstall Windows. There were issues with Steam on an older Windows 7 setup, but it hasn't been a problem since then.

Would you like to run as an administrator? It could help if we consider it’s just reading files.

Restarting Windows and Steam, plus removing any problematic files like vpk_19.

You're talking about a recent Windows reinstall on a 3-month-old system with a 16GB RAM and AMD Phenom II 1090T. You're asking if someone is referring to question 1 or 2.
