CS GO hackers..
IMO A lot of the CS:GO community is scammers and hackers(noticed this from videos), it makes me sick. I recently got scammed of a Gut Knife Tiger Tooth FN and haven't played CS for about a week since. Still waiting for a reply off steam support. But I'm MG1 and like the others, I haven't ran into any hackers... BUT SMURFS.. HOLY CRAP THE SMURFS
Following the recent VAC activity, I've noticed fewer intruders. Probably because I focus mainly on ESEA now and only play MM to maintain my standing. Worth the $7 monthly fee once you reach a decent level. My current rank is SMFC—consider aiming for eagle before investing in ESEA unless you're looking to be easily defeated. You might want to explore Cevo or Faceit.
I'm MGE. So far I've mostly dealt with just one hacker. Mostly the usual smurfs, but these hackers look like they're at a higher tier. The complaints about hackers have been dropping since the level three update was released.
It intensifies with higher ranks; I’m currently Supreme Master First Class. Most of the time there are triggers or wallhacks exposing players’ positions to their teams, even after they’re gone. It’s especially bothersome when they group together. The highlight? They’re usually around 14-year-old Russian/Eastern European players who don’t flinch in-game. Yesterday, my first three matches all featured at least two hackers on the opposing side, consistently landing headshots from corners and other spots, leaving my team with no hope. By the way, you’ll also encounter some total dribblers that have clearly been sent to LEM or LE because their play is really poor.
Before this, I hadn’t seen it, but if you reflect on it, Valve seems to target hackers more than regular players. People will purchase a single game key, while hackers will buy any quantity from their main account. There’s also the challenge of coding the game to make it harder to hack, which takes time and money, yet they don’t seem to prioritize it.
At LEM I usually don’t interact much with them... Occasionally it happens, but Valve has been more active lately and improving their performance. There were quite a few of them—from GNM to DMG—but I haven’t really engaged with them either.
