Hey everyone, I just got Crysis 3 and it’s not running well. I have an i7 4790k, 16GB RAM, and two GTX 980 graphics cards. I’m playing on a single 1440p screen with all settings turned up—especially MSAA at 4x. But I’m only managing about 20 frames per second. Anyone have any ideas?

Start by adjusting your settings. If you maintain the same FPS, consider using Razer Game Booster. Disable any unnecessary background applications and ensure your CPU has adequate cooling. High CPU temperatures can cause instability, so keeping them low is essential to avoid shutdowns.

Confirm the game settings are correct and ensure both cards are active. If so, test with a single card first. Toggle the other card off to see if the outcome differs.
