I just got a new fan for my CPU, the Arctic Alpine 64 GT rev, to swap out the AMD stock cooler. It was okay but too loud. I wanted to test it and played a little Crysis 3 on Ultra for about three minutes. After reset, I checked my BIOS and the CPU was at 64, then it went to 76. My PC is set to shut down after that time, so I’m really worried. My motherboard is Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G, with HDMI, USB 3.0, and Micro ATX. I don’t know what to do, please help. Which CPU am I using with this motherboard? Have you done any stress testing for stability? What is your PSU’s rating and wattage?
I own an AMD FX 8350 and have looked into this cooler. It was recommended, so I’m checking if it fits my needs for running CPU-intensive games like Crysis 3 on ultra with a compact design. The Cryorig M9a Mini Tower Heatsink Cooler seems suitable for that.

I own an AMD FX 8350 and indeed have a hardware monitor. I found some suggestions that this cooler would work well for running CPU games like Crysis 3 on ultra with minimal size. Is this a suitable option? Cryorig M9a Mini Tower Heatsink Cooler for AMD CPUs might be a good fit. The Air Cooler Cryorig M9a seems inadequate if you plan to overclock. Consider checking out an AIO water cooler like the H80 or similar if it fits your case.
I prefer not to overclock, I just need a fan that allows me to run high resolution games and lets my CPUs potential shine in high or ultra settings, while keeping my CPU at its factory settings without overheating. I’m okay with temperatures around 40 or even 50 degrees, maybe up to 60, just to avoid damaging it.
