I'm searching for a cup cooler and considering the m9 I own with an 870k rating. Would overclocking be suitable for this setup? Isn't the Hyper 212 Evo not recommended because it won't fit in my build? And is it really good for that?

I possess the C7 on an A8-7650K with overclocking at 4GHz, maintaining temperatures well under issue limits within a compact HTPC enclosure, which means it should comfortably manage a 870K rating.

The m9 looks great, you should easily manage the overclocking.
I plan to purchase it soon after seeing a review highlighting solid overclock performance.
