Hello, you're assembling a PC and looking for RAM options. You have several choices: Crucial Ballistix 16GB, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16 Adata XPG Gammix D30, and another 16GB (2x8GB) with DDR4 3600MHz and CL17 The Crucial. The Crucial model is $12 cheaper. Are Adata products reliable? Do you think Crucial is a better brand overall? Apart from frequency and CAS speed, are those the main differences? You'll be using an i5-12400f, Gigabyte B660m DS3H, and AMD RX6600.

many share similarities, each company faces its challenges. Yet for me, I simply prefer meaningful progress over minor setbacks.

I discovered this list, but the Adata wasn't included: In general, Adata doesn<|pad|> are RAM isn't bad, and their Spectrix range performs well. As a non-expert, I can't identify which dies both RAM models use. I’m aware that Samsung B-die and C-die chips tend to be popular, often found in premium RAM sets. I believe Crucial Ballistix is a solid choice mainly due to its popularity and availability. Adata stands out for its speed, which also justifies the higher cost. Someone else here might have better insights on the optimal specifications.

Crucial will definitely use Micron ICs, ADATA can be flexible. For a 12400F system I’d choose the most affordable option.
