It wouldn't help as much as with AMD, but it would still offer some advantages.
He might have intended to apply DOCP and adjust the timing... It makes no sense to boost the 3900x since the optimization is already quite strong... He wouldn’t see any change at 144Hz, the 10600k is only practical for 240Hz gaming... The 3900x remains the better option. Even if he reduces it to 3800x or 3700x, a difference won’t appear at 144Hz.
