I've found a large number of critical errors in Event Viewer across several PCs in my home, mainly under: Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > AsyncCausality. These logs show critical errors happening at an extremely fast pace—around 100 per second. Several event IDs keep appearing repeatedly:
Critical 8208 – Event fired when an asynchronous operation is completed.
Critical 16400 – Event fired when a synchronous work item starts.
Critical 20496 – Event fired when a synchronous work item completes.
Critical 4112 – Event fired when an asynchronous operation is created.
The Details pane often displays PIDs linked to TextInputHost.exe, gamingservices.exe, and sometimes Token Broker. I used Process Explorer to identify these.

Could anyone confirm if this is typical behavior, or if other devices in the network are also experiencing these same critical errors? I'm trying to resolve a problem where my machines seem affected by environmental factors that cause game frame rate spikes during online play. I've already attempted most troubleshooting steps and am only interested in understanding these events because they're flagged as critical and occur very frequently—close to 100 per second!

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, especially if someone can review their Event Viewer logs (visit the specified path, enable logging, refresh the window) and provide insights.

Your post refers to the PID's Event Viewer displaying all core Windows components, such as TextInputHost, gaming services, and Token Broker. It asks whether this pattern suggests a problem and requests confirmation from others who might see similar entries.

It seems your Event Viewer doesn't show AsyncCausality at all. You mentioned trying Win 10 in a VM without it appearing, which suggests it might be missing from there. Check if enabling "Show Analytic and Debug Logs" in the menu could help.
