Critical malfunction detected during gameplay of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Campaign.
I've been through Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Campaign. The game often freezes, then crashes with a fatal error right after quitting. I'm not sure what's causing it. Anyone have any ideas? My system specs are: CPU - Ryzen 5 3600, RAM - 16GB (8GBx2) at 3200Mhz, GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070, 8GB SSD, plus Mushkin Source II SSD and ADATA SSD. PSU is Corsair RM650x.
Searching online for error 6036 provides many helpful answers. Give them a try.
Activated XMP to make RAM perform as advertised. My GPU and CPU stayed at their default speeds, so I didn’t overclock them. This issue occurred again under identical conditions.
Technically your RAM is overclocked. When I say stock, I mean the slowest the motherboard allows you to run it, which has been a problem but rarely occurs. Edit: Unclear if autocorrect chose 'ram' in this case, but for this instance it was edited December 1, 2020 by Jumballi.
Verify presence of cloud saves. If absent, create a duplicate of the save folder.
Previously I encountered several problems including out of memory, fatal errors, shader compilation failures, crashes at menu, page file issues, and rendering problems with only static elements like lights, bottles, and walls. In the latest update, these issues are resolved and the game now runs properly.
