I'm struggling a lot lately, likely since the Windows update to version 1903. The system restarts on its own, sometimes an hour later, or right after it powers off and restarts again. It keeps doing this during the restart process. I haven’t been able to do any work or play games. I’m really stuck here—don’t know if it’s just the Windows update or something with my hardware. In Event Viewer, there are critical kernel and distributor events, plus several errors happening repeatedly in a short time. People online suggest changing sleep/hibernate settings, but that didn’t help. My machine specs are an i7 8700K with Corsair water cooler, Gigabyte Z370 Aorus AMI, Wi-Fi rev.1, running Windows 10/11. I tried a newer version (Windows 1803), which fixed some other critical issues except for Kernel Power 41 (63). I’ve lost hope—I’m scared the PC might stop working. I restarted it about 11 times in five hours after the update, then fresh started and it happened again eight times in two hours. There must be a fix I haven’t tried yet. I cleaned dust, checked all connections, but no solution seems online. Could power fluctuations be causing this? It’s getting really frustrating and I’m feeling isolated without being able to use my computer properly. Please help, I’m losing it.

Are all components current with your BIOS, chipset, and drivers? Have you attempted a fully new Windows setup?

Create a Linux USB using Ubuntu or Linux Mint, removing Windows completely. No installation required—just add Steam and a few free games to test your system.

I ran Windows twice using a full PC cleanup and verified the drivers are current. I’m unsure whether the issue lies with the software or the hardware (power supply).

Viewer showing severe kernel errors, likely due to hardware or power problems. I've set up various Windows 10 versions, but the issue remains unresolved.

Consider using Linux or simply swap your power supply unit.
