Creed 4 suffers from poor frame rates.
Creed 4 suffers from poor frame rates.
I've started downloading Assasin's Creed 4 and added it to my Uplay library this week. However, I'm only achieving 15-20 FPS with the GeForce Experience settings. My system specs are: case – Coolermaster Stryker, PSU – Corsair AX760, mainboard – Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (with the latest BIOS Flashback), CPU – Intel i7 3770k, cooler – Arctic Freezer Xtreme Rev.2, GPU – Asus Gtx780 DC2OC, RAM – 2x DDR3-1333 4GB, HDD – Hitachi HDS721050CLA362 (500 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II), monitor – Samsung SyncMaster LC27A550U [27" LCD] and Acer P224W [22" LCD]. The GPU temperature stays below 40°C. I currently have around 15 open tabs on my secondary monitor. Any advice would be appreciated?
It seems the game isn't using the GPU effectively. Do you have the latest GeForce drivers?
Volume fog, sunbeams, physics and VSync turned off still leave me struggling under 30 frames per second... Ubisoft clearly nailed the optimization. I can run the game, but I’m curious if lowering graphics settings—like boosting texture quality, soft shadows, reflection, god rays, fog, and disabling VSync and physics—would help push the frame rate up to at least 32 FPS.
That game is extremely poorly optimized—turn off Physx and God rays, it should work—but the FPS will still be low. I’m only managing around 50 fps with my 60 Sli setup.
The numbers seem inconsistent; 20 fps with those settings doesn't add up.
