I saw some tutorials that rely on Boot Camp Assistant, but those don’t show the available choices. Here’s a photo of your Boot Camp Assistant when you launch it and click continue. To make a Windows 10 USB on macOS, you’ll need to use a bootable tool like Rufus or a similar utility, then transfer the ISO to a USB drive.

Bootcamp aims to create a bootable Windows partition on your own device. It's considered a workaround, though its effectiveness may vary. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/bootable-windows-10-mac/

Which MacBook are you using? If yours includes a DVD-ROM drive, you might need to bypass bootcamp: https://www.techrepublic.com/article/pro...ash-drive/ You shouldn't rely on Disk Utility or diskutils in the terminal since they generate a UDF formatted USB.

Yes, I saw that. On newer Macs you can install Windows without using a USB drive, just by providing the ISO file, which may affect Bootcamp's ability to work.

I encountered issues with the newest releases of 10; I had to switch to another version and now I’m unsure which one I was using.
