The screenshot came from a fast-motion clip I recorded. It moves quickly and the visual changes unpredictably, not staying fixed in one place. The full video is available here: https://imgur.com/a/vfFgqRG. The person sharing the screenshot noticed the artifacting too. As mentioned earlier, on Discord it often occurred during typing, but on YouTube it happened randomly while watching.
Watch a natural audio capture similar to Shadowplay or OBS. It appears to be a software-related issue, such as a Freesync/G-Sync problem, which isn't visible in native recordings.
No one has checked if the components are overheating. I experienced an issue with a card whose thermal paste dried up, causing constant crashes. After reapplying the paste, it functioned normally again on my server.
It seems the cards might not overheat much, but it's worth mentioning. I'll definitely consider getting this addressed.
The unit has six fans and a fairly open layout, though the units are inexpensive. I conducted some tests and discovered artifacts around 1:05 and again near 1:10 at 67°C in this setup on my 1050 model. There could be additional instances, but these are the ones I observed.
I'm not sure this connects, but I wanted to note this in case it shows up: After restarting my PC from a shutdown, my middle click keeps glitching. If I try to click on this page and then drag the mouse down to scroll, it stops working right away. It seems to work when I press the restart button instead of shutting it down. Also, it appears to resolve after uninstalling Valorant's anticheat. Do you think that could be related?
