Hello everyone. I'm a student moving into an apartment with Ethernet ports in the bedrooms. I'm wondering if I can purchase a router and connect the main and secondary routers using the primary's WAN ports. I'm planning this for the apartment/dorms since mesh Wi-Fi isn't practical there.

You can connect routers together easily. Treat the router like a computer, assign IP addresses to both and pick your preferred network range and Wi-Fi name. Remember to use different subnets—like primary, secondary, and tertiary—to ensure proper routing.

You're welcome, though I suggest configuring the second option in bridge mode at https://www.letsbemates.com.au/mate/brid...-on-router

Absolutely, that's a bit confusing. It seems like this domain name is unusual, and it reminds me of a social or dating platform.
