Before setting up the VM, you had just one Ethernet port (the default switch). Now there’s an extra port that you don’t use—it could be a duplicate or unused. It’s safe to remove it if you’re sure it won’t interfere. Just disconnect it from the switch and confirm it doesn’t affect your network.
