Creating a tailored water cooling system at $435 with EK-1070
Hello everyone,
can anyone assist me in constructing a water cooling loop?
I’m currently using Frozencpu.com for this project and am searching for parts that are available in stock.
I’m open to your suggestions if you prefer a different website.
If you’re looking for kits, please ensure the remaining components are included, especially for the GPU block. I tend to opt for lower-priced items, but it’s better to choose quality over cost.
My requirements are:
1- A thick 240mm radiator or a slim 360mm radiator
2- A reliable pump and resistor
3- The most affordable compression fitting (add more if needed for the GPU block)
4- Clean tubing
5- Affordable and efficient fans for the radiator
6- A budget-friendly CPU block
7- A GPU WB GTX1070 in the 130$ range is acceptable
I appreciate your help and suggestions.
Is FrozenCPU currently operational? There are varied reports about its status. You might manage with a high-quality 240 or 360 radiator if you're maintaining normal speeds or doing light overclocking. For better results, a 45mm thick model and strong fans are recommended. To increase clock speeds, you should look into models with 120mm or 140mm thickness.
I rely on FrozenCPU and Performance-PCS for my watercooling setup. But cooling both a CPU and GPU with just one 240 or 360 Radiator isn't sufficient for low temperatures and quiet operation. Which CPU are you aiming to cool? Are you considering overclocking?
