I was thinking about boosting my CPU speed until I stumbled upon a video that changed my perspective. It showed how overclocking a Ryzen could damage it much quicker. I also checked Ryzen Master and saw it already suggests 1.4v! That means my real voltage might be near 1.6v or more—super risky, right? This tends to happen mainly with single-core tasks but can occur during normal use too. Am I doing something wrong?

It seems secure indeed! The linked video confirms that. I shouldn't push the CPU beyond its limits just yet, especially with that video in mind. I intend to maintain this setup for about eight years. Keeping the gear long before swapping it is a smart approach.

Avoid pushing performance beyond limits unless absolutely necessary. If you truly require a bit more speed, go ahead. For the majority, it's not worth jeopardizing your system for uncertain gains, especially given the potential risks tied to your processor.

Alright, I'll keep it simple. Just stick with the stock and ignore the 1.4v burst.

I activated features such as "O.C.D.P" to raise my clock speed to 3000MHz, otherwise it runs with standard firmware.
