The problem is you won't locate a PCIe modem for DSL, especially not a DSL one. You should rely on the provider's gateway (modem/router) instead. Check if it supports bridge mode or IP pass-through and connect a router to it. This mode converts the device into a typical DSL modem. Even then, confirm with your service provider about compatibility—many use PPPoE for login, requiring a username and password. Generally, only cable companies are allowed to install customer-owned modems per FCC rules; DSL and fiber providers aren't. DSL has distance limitations, so performance drops significantly with distance from the central office or remote unit. It’s possible you won’t be able to improve it further.
