Ubuntu is clearly the go-to choice when searching for Linux solutions. It often provides the most comprehensive package support. If you encounter problems, simply switch to another desktop environment.

Another positive point for *buntu*—preferably Kubuntu—I think OpenSUSE is a great choice to begin with.

Ubuntu 19.04 has been very reliable for me. It might not appear as sleek as some other distributions, but its strong community and support are unmatched.
