So I assembled a new PC roughly four days ago, with an unusual issue that I’ve never encountered before—it’s not a crash or anything severe, and it’s hard to locate information about it. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing on the machine; occasionally the main screen flickers black, just a slight -1 flicker. Audio remains intact, and it isn’t freezing. Games still play if they’re open, but they just become black. I haven’t considered a faulty GPU because I don’t have enough knowledge to diagnose it properly, but I’ve been working on fixing it for about 12 hours now.

Things I’ve tried:
- Installed all the latest drivers and one before that
- Swapped different DP cords and used a different port on the PC
- Adjusted many Windows settings
- Updated the BIOS and set refresh rates correctly
- Tested G Sync on the monitor for potential HZ problems
- Inspected all cables to make sure nothing was loose
- Modified Power Saving options
- Checked temperatures and ensured fans were working properly

Specs:
- Monitor is around 3 months old, no previous issues
- GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti 16G VENTUS 3X OC
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d
- TUF Gaming Eagle B650 Plus WIFI
- CORSAIR 1000W power supply
- 32 GB Corsair RAM
- Monitor model LG 27GP750-B 27”

This appears to be an issue with a wiring connection. I recommend testing by moving the cable to the monitor and checking if the problem persists. Try shaking the case, the monitor, or switching to another monitor temporarily.
