I made the Windows 10 installation media for use with my key on an 8GB flash drive. Once the installation is finished (and I haven’t faced any issues), can I resume using the USB drive normally? Or should I retain the media just in case?

I’d keep a current version ready at all times. You never realize when you’ll require it.

You could simply use it as usual whenever you need it again. Leaving the USB drive in a drawer for too long might cause data loss.

You have the option to create a bootable USB at any time. It doesn’t store your Win10 files or personal data, and you can easily make another one later.

It's ideal to continue using new drives because updates will be released automatically from the beginning.

Yes, you can simply place files onto it as you would with a regular USB flash drive.

I'll transfer it from the current USB and install it on another USB drive.

I'm not confident about this approach—it was meant for burning directly onto the USB drive rather than simple copying. It's hard to say for sure, but using the creation tool again would be the safest option.

Please reformat the drive to NTFS and erase all data. For future installations of Windows, obtain the file via the Media Creation Tool.
