It varies based on your situation. If you're using AM4 and have a mid-range system, a 3D might not add much value. For FX8350 or older Intel platforms, switching to AM5 is definitely the right choice.

Sorry for the delayed response and all. I've just begun purchasing the components this week. I wanted to inquire about the reason for choosing a more expensive motherboard, since others have suggested similar models within a comparable price range. I'm hoping it could be due to better durability for other parts.

Given that the current RAM is no longer available, it seems likely we'll proceed with this option. EXPO support is available, and the model supports 6000MHz CL36.

The board I mentioned offers a superior VRM design, is fully showcased, and reflects genuine quality. Avoid Asus and ASRock if you don’t want to face RMA nightmares. Asus has struggled with their BIOS since the pandemic, and ASRock is still figuring out why the 9000series X3D chips fail on their boards.

You need a discreet RAM setup to avoid conflicts with dual tower CPU coolers. For an AIO system, the tall heatsinks are irrelevant. If you plan to play games, consider DDR5-6000 CL30 for minimal delay.
