Hey there! I'm trying to finish some final renders for a project and need help with SolidWorks. Right now, I'm using CPU processing via Photoview360, but it's taking forever. Can I really run these on my GTX970? Do SolidWorks have restrictions that only allow workstation graphics like Quadros? Any advice would be super helpful! - W-L

There is no way to use the GPU in SW 2014. I also tryed. Good quality rendering takes me abour one hour. But by shuting off the caustic you can save a lot of time, and the defference of the rendering is smal.

It's disappointing, but it's going to take roughly an hour per image. I think I'll just wait for it to finish.

Review this article: First image group takes about 2 minutes to render each. Second set requires around an hour per image. Since the images are reduced in size during upload, you won't notice a large difference. Usually, high quality isn't necessary.

I understand your intention, I’m considering printing it at a 1:1 scale for the small component. I’m still deciding whether to proceed yet.
