Unless it's a custom build, this would need to run on a Mac, which isn't ideal for a typical PC setup. No hardware upgrades would be possible.

You don’t think Linus will face legal issues from a paid hackintosh video using a useless Linux add-on. OS X or Windows already handle most of that. The only realistic outcome is a VM setup or an iMac/Pro/book system booting into Windows with some random Linux distribution.

Linus mentioned a Hackintosh discussion with Luke during a recent WAN broadcast. I’m really curious to hear his thoughts on upcoming Hackintosh developments. If they’re not feasible, I’d love to see what he says about it.
