Create an ISO from a bootable USB stick
Good day everyone, I'm facing a tough challenge in generating a bootable ISO for Ventoy. I've tried almost every software that claims to help, but it all fails. I have a Paragon rescue disk that works on a USB stick, but I need to combine my USB drives into one for Ventoy. The Paragon program creates a Linux ISO which is fine, but I want to use the Windows version and the only choice is writing directly to a stick. I've made images before, but Ventoy won't boot them and I think it's because the boot record is missing. I got close with Magic ISO maker again, but it still didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
Which Paragon app and version are you employing?
To generate a bootable Windows ISO, you must first download and install the Windows kit through Paragon software.
Once you successfully create the bootable USB drive, you can use CDBurnerXP to extract the ISO from that drive into an ISO file.
CDBurnerXP supports all the latest Windows releases, so be careful not to confuse "XP" with other versions.
With this tool, you can either copy or import the disc and save it as an ISO.
GardenMan here, Paragon 17, just installed both window kits. The individual USB stick functions perfectly with the windows version. Might be a Ventoy compatibility issue at play.
TerryLaze, I’ll take a look at the details.
I noticed someone on the Ventoy site used version 15 and I think I have that available too. I’ll verify it and let you know later.
Thanks everyone.

Thank you all for the input. I tried 15 but ended up stuck with an outdated developer kit that was really hard to locate, and then it just didn’t work for me. I’m going to close this and keep that tool handy for when I need it again. A lot of time wasted on this.
