You shouldn't use a DVD for this purpose. Try using a USB drive instead. The link provided works on Windows 7.

I prefer a USB drive over a DVD. It works quicker. For ISO adjustments, I usually rely on PowerISO.

I’d prefer, though I don’t have an extra USB port—I only have one—and I use it with a hard drive. I can place it on my shelf and leave it there without worrying about it.
