I had to remove Windows 8 64-bit because it was too damaged to upgrade to Windows 10 (many problems, a lot of frustration). I uninstalled it since I lost my disk, so I installed Windows 8 32-bit instead, knowing only that the original drive existed. I downloaded Windows 10 32-bit just temporarily, but things are changing fast. Today I plan to visit a store to get a Windows 8 64-bit disc, but I still have doubts. I need guidance on how to burn this disc so it functions like a genuine Windows 8 64-bit installation. I tried downloading the medium and placing the ISO inside, but it didn’t work easily. Do you know if there’s a download option meant for burning onto a disc—something that lets me boot from it and use the Windows 8 64-bit setup?
On my current drive I have a 8GB 64bit ISO, but it doesn’t boot at all. The disc is about 4.7GB in size, and I tried using Windows 8 medium to try and install it. Still, I can’t get started—it just shows the ISO file without any progress.

That refers to a USB flash drive. Unless you meant something else entirely.
You might inquire with a friend about borrowing it. This method should apply to a DVD; what occurs then? Can you start from it?
