Hi there. My friend asked for my help in assembling his new workstation PC for applied arts or industrial design. He uses it every day for modeling and rendering in various Adobe programs, Rhinoceros 3D (V-Ray), Keyshot, Blender, and a few other software that I’m not very familiar with.

The budget is fairly tight, around €900 to €1000. I’m not sure what parts would work best in this price range, so I’d really appreciate any advice from others.

As far as I know, Nvidia GPUs are significantly more efficient than AMD ones for the rendering programs he uses, correct?

I’ve been considering the RTX 3060 and 3070, wondering if they would fit within this budget. I’m not confident about the choice.

That’s all I have to say. Thanks in advance.

At that rate it's in the best interest to go used. You can get a pretty solid deal on a bundle / built PC when buying used.
I know we're in different locations, but for reference,
here's
a decent deal
It's got a solid Ryzen & most likely the graphics card will do the bulk of the work.
That's a pretty good deal at around 900 Euros / USD
