I'm new to computers, but I have the operating system and tools on my SSD. My games are already installed there. I plan to change my BIOS as recommended by tech support. I understand this is dangerous, so I thought making a backup of my SSD might be useful if the update doesn't work. I’m unsure if backing up just the SSD would help or if it’s possible at all. Can someone explain how to safely back up before flashing the BIOS without saving all my games?

Turning on the BIOS won’t affect the information stored on the disks. When the flashing process doesn’t succeed, you may have to replace the motherboard, unless it supports dual BIOS systems.
