Hello everyone. Previously I maintained around 300 fps in CSGO. About a week ago (27 March 2020) my FPS started dropping significantly. You'll find a video documenting the issue below. Important notes: all temperatures stay under 60°C, I'm using the latest version, no configuration changes needed. Updated windows are installed—though I thought an OS problem might be causing it. My setup includes a Samsung CFG70 monitor at 144Hz. I run on 1080p and have disabled Game DVR. CPU cores are unparked and I've tested in compatibility mode with PC specs. CPU model: Z270F (i7-7700K), RAM: Corsair Vengeance White, 8GB x2, GPU: Radeon RX Vega 64, cooler: Coolermaster Masterliquid ML240R, SSD: 2x850 PRO 2.5", PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2. Occasionally the drops happen randomly—sometimes I hit 200+fps on B, other times only 16fps. "60fps is fine," so if you haven't experienced 144Hz before, it's not a big deal. If you need details, just let me know. Appreciate your support."

I've had this PC for a while now, and I put everything together recently.

uncertain about the same behavior across Windows; linx CSOG might not preserve settings possibly due to auto-save or recent updates. verify if GPY drivers are updated—some games perform better after changing drivers or patching. example: MK9 works with driver 318 but not higher versions, while GTA runs differently.

It's possible your PC changed the game to use integrated GPU after the update. Your friend's NVIDIA GPU should work, but some games switch to IGPU post-update. Use Afterburner on Windows to verify the GPU setting.

Usually it behaves poorly due to internal problems, yet a one-year-old unit shouldn't show this issue.

Confirming Igpu isn't a Vega GPU. Checking current GPU usage percentage. If it's low, look for power-saving settings in the driver.

I fixed it, but it was the worst mistake ever. Had to lower the shader details. It’s been on high all this time—no idea why it only started acting up recently. Really glad I reinstalled Windows (◔_◔). Appreciate all the support!
