Crash/Kernel power 41
Crash/Kernel power 41
I experience random crashes and system freezes (kernel power 41) during loading, particularly on Overwatch and occasionally on CS. I’ve recently changed RAM, CPU, motherboard, and PSU, so these issues don’t seem to be the cause since I had problems before. My GPU maintains around 60-70°C during gameplay and handles Furmark stress tests without overheating below 80°C. However, my CPU runs very hot—around 90+ degrees on CPU burner—but stays under 80°C during games, which suggests it’s not the main concern. I’ve performed a clean Windows reinstall and updated all drivers. What further steps should I take?
kernel-power 41 isn't the issue.
It's just the PC saying "I shut down, and I don't understand. Human, please help me."
The real problem lies elsewhere.

Remove the side panel and use a fan to increase airflow.
These high-stress test temperatures are common, and I've noticed issues with Ryzen before it was expected to slow down. Consider updating the BIOS if necessary.
maybe it's the heat but it's odd because I rarely exceed 80 degrees after playing overwatch for a while, usually crashing every third match or so :/
If conditions have worsened over time, then 80 could pose an issue. Using an external fan is a great method to verify this idea.
