In summary, there’s no error or misunderstanding on your part. As Mark clarified, there are software problems with multi-monitor configurations and adaptive sync that users cannot control, and this has been a long-standing issue. This isn’t about AMD specifically; the discussion involves GPUs in general. Your statement about FreeSync being exclusive to AMD is incorrect and could mislead others. While performance may vary across different systems, it’s not accurate to claim all monitors are incompatible with G-Sync. Devices labeled “G-Sync compatible” often support Nvidia’s G-Sync when certified by the manufacturer.

This topic isn’t about personal frustration—it’s a technical discussion. Many users have encountered similar challenges with both single and multiple monitors, especially when adaptive sync is involved. Problems like crashes, freezes, or visual glitches are common across different setups. Regardless of the technology used—whether it’s synchronization method, GPU model, or operating system—the experience remains inconsistent.

If drivers force adaptive sync on all connected displays regardless of their capabilities, it points to a software flaw rather than a user error. You can reach out to manufacturers or support teams for clarification, as they’ll confirm that such issues are not intentional and should not occur with proper certification.

Alright everyone, I've finished my testing and verified that the problem lies with Nvidia's software. It looks like we can't fix it on our end. I've added the only workaround I found to the original post—it's not a full fix but the least troublesome option. At least your connections remain intact. Sadly, there are no more tests or alternatives left, so this is probably the final update for now. Unless you have any ideas or solutions, feel free to share them. Wishing you all a happy Christmas and a great new year. Stay safe!

This situation isn't universal; otherwise, the forum wouldn't be necessary. Citation?

Are there other firms producing perfect products besides Nvidia? The idea that only Nvidia creates flawless items is incorrect—information is often old. Nvidia did adopt FreeSync and continues to market it as "G-sync compatible," but this isn't entirely accurate.

I always treat compatibility issues as incompatible, no matter what backdoor arrangements exist between components. It's similar to pairing CPU and GPU brands in a PC setup. Let the system function as intended—maybe consider Adaptive Sync over Fast Sync for multiple displays? A user named Referi-Jerator is joking, but I’m serious. Everyone here acts like a well-behaved appliance.
