Hello, I hope you understand my limited English. I purchased a PC two years ago; it’s mainly for casual gaming. Lately, I’m experiencing some problems. It’s quite complicated. I usually just browse the internet without anything demanding on the graphics card, but suddenly video output stops and the GPU fan speeds up to 100%. I thought it was an accident. After that, everything restarted the next day, and again it happened while I was watching YouTube. So, I reinstalled Windows and all drivers, but it worked until I restarted again. Then I immediately sent it in for repair (RMA).

By the way, since I live in Bangladesh, after-sales support isn’t reliable, and I have no other options. They just did a fresh install and found nothing wrong. But when I returned home, the same issue appeared. I lost confidence in the RMA team and started troubleshooting. I ran a benchmark test that worked fine. My PC ran overnight without problems, but when I restarted in the morning, the video output failed again and the GPU fan spiked to maximum.

I used TeamViewer to connect remotely and noticed the GPU disconnected from my PC. After restarting multiple times, it only showed up once I turned off the whole system and reconnected the power cable. Sometimes I can’t log into TeamViewer at all, and even with the keyboard, the CPU and GPU fan keep running. I’m assuming the system is failing. My RMA department insists it’s a GPU problem, not my motherboard or PSU.

I’m worried because my GPU is out of warranty (it was only two years ago in October 2022), but I have just one month left for the motherboard and PSU. If it’s not the GPU, I need to claim my warranty. Could you help me figure out what’s going on?

My specifications are: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING (BIOS 4901, latest), AMD Ryzen 5 3400G (no overclocking), 2x8GB ADATA XPG RAM at 2666MHz, Transcend 220s, 512GB SSD, Toshiba 2TB HDD, ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 OC edition 6GB (rated 500W, 80 PLUS certified), HuntKey GS600 (80 PLUS certified, 500W).
