I'm attempting to record the game without streaming, and it performs very well without OBS. I've spent 5-10 minutes fine-tuning settings to maintain a stable frame rate. However, as soon as OBS or Streamlabs attempts to start recording, I switch to the game and it crashes immediately. I recently upgraded my CPU and RAM, which made me hopeful for smoother performance, but once OBS opens, everything breaks down. I've also tried running OBS with admin privileges, but the issue persists. Any advice would be very helpful!

if you're using fullscreen, consider switching to windowed borderless. throughout the gameplay, i encountered problems where it would crash when i would alt-tab and step away. these issues didn't happen instantly. the only workaround i discovered was to use windowed borderless whenever i needed to minimize it for extended periods.
