Crappy choppy gameplay
Crappy choppy gameplay
So what’s the most effective way to pinpoint the source of the poor, choppy gameplay?
I’ve adjusted everything—settings, graphics card, even increased the performance—but nothing seems to help.
I’d guess it’s not the monitor; if it were the issue, the lag would be constant. But it appears to start up and stop intermittently. I’m wondering if others have faced this problem with CS:GO?
Last night my experience was terrible, but the next morning it improved. Anyone else have similar issues?
I’ve also tried playing on another monitor, but the problem wasn’t as severe there. Still, I’m not sure it’s the display causing the issue.
When I asked my teammates if they felt lag, they said no.

I noticed an issue when I turned it off; it seemed to improve. Would you consider trying it again with it on and off to check for changes?
I'm wondering why I need assistance here, maybe someone can suggest an alternative. I can try adjusting settings one by one to check if it improves things. It seems the internet isn't the issue since my connection is stable at 200 Mbps, but I still had to restart the modem and router.
I made sure Freesync was activated on my monitor right now, and I don’t appear to be facing any problems.
The VSYNC setting on the graphics card is configured for 3D applications.
