what is the cputin sensor and does it get very hot? could it be related to vrm temperature? my model is a970 g/3.1

my mobo asrock a970g /3.1 vrm feels like it won't fit at all—it's not a CPU 90c, it needs serious heat, the package temps should be between 55-60c when using amd overdrive stability.
