CPU-Z doesn't alter RAM timing settings.
If the XMP remains active, it continues to operate with those specific intervals because the configuration hasn't changed.
I have just reinitialized everything and enabled XMP. The memory operates at 3600 MHz yet the timings remain CL22. I’m confused about this. The RAM kit is rated for CL17, and I don’t want to push it beyond that speed. I just want it to run at the standard 3600 MHz (17-19-19-39-58).
Needs to turn off Gear down mode or the BIOS will switch it to CL 18.
Is this a faulty die? I've heard Samsung B-Die is top-notch. I finally fixed it today. I updated the BIOS to the latest version (F60), adjusted all settings, and successfully got it stable at 3600Mhz CL16. Thanks everyone for your support! How can I close this thread or indicate it's resolved?
